Kim obtained her bachelor degree, in Monumental Design at the Royal Art Academy in The Hague and then specialized in glass. As a professional glass-artist since 2005, she has exhibited art-pieces, worked in commision and practiced as an art-educator.
Through the years it has become clear to Kim that a large part of her artistic mindset is about the concept that art and education are closely linked, or even often one and the same.
At the Master Art-Education at ArtEZ in Zwolle she found the opportunity to explore this concept, and this gave clarity on what is of most value to her.
